Michael Bisping offers to fight Daniel Cormier at UFC 200

Michael Bisping shocked the world when he defeated Luke Rockhold. I think most people were shocked he was able to back up all the shit he was talking to Rockhold and the AKA camp. The newly crowned middleweight champion has always been one of those fight anyone anywhere type of guys. He won the middleweight title because he stepped in to replace Chris Weidman last minute.

Now that Jon Jones was pulled from UFC 200, Daniel Cormier needs a new opponent or he won’t be fighting on one of the biggest fight cards ever. Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping have already had some talk back and forth but its also hard not to get hit in the crossfire of Bispings trash talk. Michael Bisping took to twitter hours after it was announced that Jon Jones pulled to fans he’d fight on a couple days notice.

This fight wouldn’t have made any sense if you told me about it a couple months ago, but now I believe this could be an entertaining fight. I do think Cormier has a bit of a size and strength advantage, but Bisping is full of surprises. I have heard that Alexander Gustafsson said he would step in for either Cormier or Jones if there was a problem. That fight would also be an exciting one, however it is hard to pass on Champion vs Champion.

While it would have been a fan’s dream to see Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson fight on UFC 200 like they did UFC 100; we could still get some Bisping action. Okay now imagine this. Michael Bisping gets the fight, wins, and now is the middleweight and light heavyweight champion of the world. I need to go to sleep.
