Fightlab Muay Thai Gloves Review

I have been following Fightlab for a little while and I have been impressed with their gear. They sponsor some big names like Chad Reiner and Paul Daley. They make a variety of training gear for Muay Thai, Boxing, and MMA and they are based out of Thailand. They are working on distribution and getting their products sold around the world. I recently contacted the company to request some review samples. I was able to get in touch with the Fightlab team and they sent me out some excellent training gear to review for you guys. I got an excellent pair of Muay Thai gloves to try out and a pair of their hand wraps to make it official, I’m punching Fightlab style.

Fightlab sent me a few other pieces to test out and I will have more reviews coming up soon. They make a lot of quality training gear for MMA and Muay Thai. You should definitely check them out if you are looking for quality Thai gear.

Fightlab Boxing Glove review

I examined the gloves thoroughly before I even put them on and you can really see the quality in the craftsmanship. These gloves are made very well and are very durable. I was using the 12oz gloves which I am really a fan of for training. Sure it is great to wear 16oz gloves for safety but smaller gloves give a similar feel to MMA gloves. I really like how comfortable these gloves are. They feel very nice on the hands and the wrist strap hold everything comfortably in place. These gloves fit me very well and didn’t move around on my hands. Even during some heavy rounds on the bag, these gloves held up very well.

I feel like these gloves take impact very well. Recently I was using a very cheap pair of boxing gloves at home and upgraded to these. Holy cow is there a difference, these things are tough. They fit very well and they are also comfortable on the hand. I also like how well these gloves breathe. They have some traditional holes on the palm for ventilation. One of the things that impressed me the most was the wrist strap. The strap is a nice and thick and really helps hold the glove in place. I prefer this type of wrist strap to the elastic and velcro combination. This just seems to hold up better.

After using these gloves for some heavy training days I really like them. They work very well for bag and pad training as well as sparring. These are slowly turning into my everyday gloves for my training. I am a big fan of Fightlab gloves and I can’t wait to try more products from them.
