Why is “The Dragon” Lyoto Machida calling out Chael Sonnen?
Lyoto Machida has never been one of those loud mouth fighters that will call people out. The Former Light-Heavyweight Champion has called out Chael Sonnen after the events of UFC Fight Night 26 where Sonnen took a victory of Mauricio Shogun Rua. With the help of Twitter, Machida was able to express his interest in fighting Sonnen, taking it to the next level saying he will fight him in a parking lot. What?

We were a little confused but after a little research we are tapping into the conflict. During the UFC Fight Night 26 post-fight press conference Sonnen was asked about both Vitor Belfort and Lytoto Machida calling him out and wanting to fight him. Here is Chael’s response.
“I would beat up Vitor on the way to the ring to kick Wanderlei’s ass. And I’ll take there that third guy who’s name I’ve already forgotten in the parking lot on the way to my after-party. I will take all three.”
So there is where is ‘parking lot’ came from. Sonnen now has a few opponent he wants to fight, however Vitor Belfort will have to wait as he will be fighting Dan Henderson soon. If you’re a fan of MMA this is big news, many people want to see Chael Sonnen vs Lyoto Machida.
