The Ultimate Fighter 20 has crowned a new UFC Champion in an all new weight class. The Women’s 115 lb division has been featured on the reality show introducing the new weight class to the UFC. The head coaches Gilbert Melendez and Anthony Pettis recently fought where Showtime defended his title with a guillotine in the second round. There was a lot of drama on the show which included an all female cast minus the coaches. The final card featured some excellent fights in the new Strawweight division. The final bout for the title came down to Carla Esparza vs. Rose Namajunas.
After 3 awesome round of, Carla Esparza submits Rose Namajunas for the Strawweight Championship. After landing some excellent takedowns, Esparza eventually takes Namajunas’ back and makes her tap via rear naked choke. The 115lb champion has been crowned and her name is Carla “Cookie Monster” Esparza.
