The video above features all Invicta FC 22 fighters weighing in and squaring off. A total of three fighters missed weight on the main card. Invicta FC 22 will take place March 25th in Kansas City, MO and air live on UFC FightPass at 8pm ET. The main event features a rematch between Tonya Evinger and Yana Kunitskaya who fought a controversial bout at Invicta FC 20. In their first bout Kunitskaya went for an armbar on the bottom, while Evinger attempted to use her foot to push off the grounded Kunitskaya’s face. The referee Mike England told Evinger what she was doing was illegal forcing her to stop that defense. She ultimately taps out to the armbar a moment later and surrenders her title to Kunitskaya. However due to an overturning by the Athletic Commission, Evinger retained her title and the fight was ruled a No Contest. Hopefully we will see a less controversial fight this time around.
