There have been so many fights recently it is hard to keep up with all of the action. There have been plenty of Fantasy UFC games available through DraftKings and this week we have another exciting card. UFC Fight Night Chicago will feature a rematch in the main event between TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao and a lot of other exciting fights. Many people are excited to see the MMA couple Miesha Tate and Bryan Caraway on the card. I am excited always excited to see Joe Lauzon fight, he always puts on a good show. Sometimes my picks change slightly after the weigh ins for a number of reasons. Here are my current UFC Chicago draft picks and favorites. Choose your lineup now!
Renan Barao ($8,500)
If you have seen Barao fight, you know that he is something special. He is an excellent fighter but has had issues making the 135lb limit in the past. I am skeptical about this pick and it could change after the weigh-ins. However for being one of the cheapest fighters on the roster, you almost cant pass it up.
Miesha Tate ($10,700)
I strongly believe Miesha Tate is the second best female fighter at 135. The chick is pretty incredible with her wrestling and did better than most against the champ Rousey. I think Tate will have an easy time controlling this fight and securing a win. I think this one has a high chance of going to a decision.
Paul Felder/Edson Barboza ($9,700)
I can tell this is going to be a good fight. Both fighters are really tough and have beat really great opponents in the cage. After doing a bit of research it is really hard for me to call a winner. Barboza is the favorite to win considering Vegas Odds but they both cost the same for your DraftKings lineup. I think this fight will end by a stoppage in the first or second round, so toss a coin or pick your favorite for this one. Both fighters under $10k.
Joe Lauzon ($11,100)
This man is the king of UFC “of the night” bonuses and many people including fighters love watching him fight. He is a little on the pricey side but I am confident in his ability to finish. He is taking on Takanori Gomi who might not be able to keep up in this bout.
Ben Saunders ($9,400)
I like Ben’s ability to finish fights. He has shown some impressive abilities throughout some of his career wins. He has been doing well since his return to the UFC and I like his matchup in Kenny Robertson. I think hes a good price and stand a good chance of finishing this fight.
Eddie Wineland ($9,900)
So this is a bantamweight bout against the #6 in Wineland and the #12 in Bryan Caraway. I think Wineland has some great striking and I think his submission defense will hold up against Caraway. You can see that Caraway has a lot of submission wins so he knows how to stop the fight at 135. However I think Wineland will come out on top.
