This has been a great year for Fantasy MMA so far, and it’s only getting better. We have had a few excellent cards this years and plenty of chances to win big money. If you aren’t currently playing DraftKings Fantasy UFC, you need to get on that! There are daily games for many different sports, and they have every UFC event. The next card will be Gonzaga vs Cro Cop II on April 11th. The bout will take place in Krakow, Poland and will feature many European fighters. If you are looking for the best fantasy picks for your DraftKings lineup, you came to the right place. The salary range on this card isn’t too vast, and there are some great picks. Choose your lineup now!
Gabriel Gonzaga($10,500) vs Mirko Cro Cop($9,200)
This is going to be an exciting main even that I am sure will be apart of everyone’s lineup. I am sure this heavyweight bout will end in a knockout, its just really hard to say who will get the win. They fought before in 2007 where Gonzaga held down Cro Cop for a good bit of the fight and eventually finished him with a head kick KO. See that fight HERE It was an excellent kick and its something that Cro Cop himself is known for. In fact, Cro Cop won his last fight with a head kick. He was also held down for a good portion of both recent matches with Satoshi Ishii. I believe Gonzaga will be able to hold down Cro Cop again and finish him with some ground and pound. Gonzaga by TKO
Jimi Manuwa($10,000) vs Jan Blachowicz($9,400)
I am very excited to see Jimi Manuwa fight again. He has finished all of his fights and many of them in the first round. He has suffered his only loss to Alexander Gustaffson who gave Jon Jones a run for his money. He will be facing a Polish fighter in Jan Blachowicz who has had some success in MMA. I see this fight going in favor of Manuwa who should be able finish the fight in the first or second round. He should be hungry for a win after his recent mauling by The Mauler. With a salary cost of only $10,000 he should be an easy pick. Jimi Manuwa by KO
Sheldon Westcott($10,400) vs Pawel Pawlak(($9,400)
In this fight we will see Sheldon Westcott move down to welterweight to face the Polish fighter. Bother fighters have suffered a loss in their UFC debut and need a win this time around. While Pawlak will have the hometown advantage, I believe Westcott will have a size advantage. I would like to see how he looks at the weigh ins, but for now I am favoring Sheldon. At $10,400 he isn’t too expensive but there may be better options. Sheldon Westcott by Decision
Joanne Calderwood($11,700) vs Maryna Moroz($7,600)
This is by far the biggest salary range between fighters. The odds really are in Calderwood’s favor however I am not sure she is worth the price tag. Spending that much can limit your other choices especially since this fight will most likely go to decision. Moroz has some slick submissions but doesn’t really pose a threat anywhere else. Calderwood has shown some excellent skill on the feet and has the ability to finish there. Moroz can definitely finish the fight on the floor so this fight is close in my book. I think this one is a scrap. Joanne Calderwood by Decision
Leon Edwards($9,900) vs Seth Baczynski($9,500)
This is another matchup of fighters coming off a UFC loss. Baczynski has two losses in a row and will really need to take a win. The “Polish Pistol” should have the support of the crowd but is not favored to win. I don’t know if Leon Edwards will be able to put it together to take out Baczynski. I believe this will be a war and should most likely go to decision. Each fighter is under the average and could easily fit on any lineup. Seth Baczynski by Decision
Bartosz Fabinski($10,200) vs Garreth McLellen($9,200)
This should be an excellent Middleweight bout for two fighters making their UFC debut. Fabinski will be moving up from 170 to fight in his home country. I believe this will give McLellen a slight size advantage however Fabinski may feel more comfortable without having to cut weight. Fabinski is an exciting fighter and has a lot of first round finishes which makes him pretty valuable for your lineup. McLellen also has a lot of finishes, but not as many first round. I believe McLellen will be able to grind the fight out and win when the time is right. Garreth McLellen by Submission
Sergio Moraes($11,300) vs Mickael Lebout($8,100)
This fight has the second largest salary difference and it is another one I think will be pretty close. Moraes has some great submissions but that is his only way to finish the fight. Lebout has a long list of submission wins as well but also has a TKO win. I think each fighters grappling will cancel each other and they will have to rely on striking. I don’t see either fighter pulling the knockout from their standup and I see it going the distance. Sergio Moraes by Decision
