So this event has had many changes to the card but it is still hard to not be excited to watch. Many fans like myself have been waiting to see Jon Jones face Anthony Johnson but have to settle for Rumble smashing Daniel Cormier. Jones has been on a dark path that has caused him to lose his title and the respect of many fans. However it has been stated that he will receive an immediate title shot upon return. So Rumble and DC are going to battle it out to see who becomes the new light heavyweight champion. We will also get to see the long anticipated bout between Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort. Don’t miss out on all of the fantasy UFC action this weekend. DraftKings offers many different styles of games with plenty of prizes. You can play for free or use as litle as a quarter at a time.
This card we will have 12 bouts to choose from and the biggest salary gap is only $4,000. Try our your skills and make sure to invite your friends to compete against. Choose your lineup now!
Anthony Johnson ($9,400)
This is a pretty close fight on paper, and the salary gap isn’t very big. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has looked very impressive in his last few fights as did his opponent Daniel “DC” Cormier. However I think we can ride the Blackzilian hype train all the way to the bank. Johnson seemingly destroyed Gustafsson in his last fight, something the former champ Jon Jones couldn’t do. I think Rumble will smash his way to a victory.
Chris Weidman ($11,400)
I believe Weidman won’t have much trouble defending his title Saturday night. He has looked pretty impressive in each of his fights including both bouts with Anderson Silva. I don’t think Vitor Belfort has it anymore and hasn’t really competed in a couple years. I think he will finish Vitor so make sure to try and squeeze the champ on your lineup.
Donald Cerrone ($11,200)
Okay who isn’t excited to see Cowboy step into the octagon again. Sure we won’t get to see him test himself against the bear wrestling Khabib but a bout against Makdessi will still be interesting. I think Cowboy brings it on Saturday and comes through with a finish. He has been apologetic about not finishing in the past so he really wants to end the fight.
Travis Browne ($11,300)
My boy Travis Browne has been looking better and better with each fight. His last victory over Brendan Schaub was a great one and I believe he can do something similar to Andrei Arlovski. I think this will be a great fight but I am not sure if it will end in a finish. If you think this will go to decision maybe you can find someone cheaper for your lineup.
John Moraga ($7,700)
So this is an interesting matchup and has the greatest difference in odds compared to all of the other fights. This is the fight with the largest salary gap of $4,000 leaving Moraga to be the cheapest fighter on the roster. However I have hope for Moraga, he has done well in his last few fights and has beaten some similar opponents. I believe this fight will be closer than most believe and if you are looking for a cheap fighter on a stacked lineup, Moraga is an excellent pick.
John Dodson ($11,200)
I think it is pretty funny that John Dodson is on the Prelims when his last fight was a victory over Moraga who is on the main card. However I have always been impressed with Dodson and the guy really works hard. He has some pretty good finishes for a flyweight and has a good chance at UFC 187.
Don Hyun Kim ($10,800)
Even though I am a big fan of Josh Burkman, I have to give it to the Stun Gun on this one. Kim has some impressive wins over some impressive opponents and should put Burkman away in the first round or two.
Rafael Natal ($8,400)
I will admit that for a short time I boarded the Uriah Hall hype train, but like many others became disappointed. I think Natal is a grinder and has a good chance at neutralizing Hall’s striking. I am not sure if Rafael Natal can secure a finish but I believe he can grind out a victory.
