Former Tennessee Volunteer, Ovince St. Perux (18-6), the number 7 ranked UFC Light Heavyweight will main event UFC Fight Night 74 in Nashville, Tennessee, against Brazilian slugger, Glover Teixeira (22-4); who’s the number 6 ranked UFC Light Heavyweight.
OSP, is 7-1 in his last 8, and has scored back to back knock out wins over Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Patrick Cummins.
Teixeira won 20 fight in a row earning a shot a the UFC Light Heavyweight title. In that title bout Teixeira lost a unanimous decision to then champion Jon Jones and has since also dropped a unanimous decision to Phil Davis.
UFC Fight Night 74 is on August 8th and takes place at the Bridgestone Arena.
