For unknown reasons Yancy Medeiros (11-2) will not be competing at UFC 184 and instead “TUF” 13 winner, Tony Ferguson (17-3) will tangle with American Top Teams Gleison Tibau (33-10).
Ferguson has won 4 in a row over Mike Rio (SUB), Katsunori Kikuno (KO), Danny Castillo (SD), and Abel Trujillo (SUB). Tibau is 5-1 in his last 6, with consecutive decision wins over Pat Healy, Piotr Hallman and Norman Parke.
UFC 184 is on February 28th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California;and is headlined by Cat Zingano challenging Ronda Rousey for the UFC Woman’s Bantamweight title.
